I had such a delightful night at a local school's "Reading 'Round the Campfire" event! First, let me just say, the local schools in my area are always so creative with their literacy programs. Freedom Crossing Academy really put a lot of thought and imagination into this one-of-a-kind event.
Each author had a station set up like a campsite, complete with a campfire and picnic blanket, where the children could sit down for a story time, meet the author, and purchase a signed book. They even made s'mores for everyone! How can you beat that?!
Thanks for a night of fun under the stars, FCA!
I'm SOOO excited to share the amazing cover for my upcoming book, Rex the...We-Don't-Know, with you! Chase Jensen, the illustrator, did such a FANTASTIC job with the illustrations, and capturing our furry friend, Rex.
